A friend took this picture of me at the end of July in 2004. It's from a field of kudzu near the Sock Capital of the World, Fort Payne, Alabama.

I feel like I've grown a lot already this year.

What a great picture! The kudzu field looks otherworldly and fantastic. The purple of your shirt sets off the green and vice versa.

you took this picture of yourself, really? ;) nice framing and cropping, you really gave the picture some energy and movement.

a toast: to growing a lot every year. to letting our worlds expand like the kudzu spreads.
