The joys and perils of concrete floors
In just one week I’ve gone through the highs and lows of having concrete floors. Last weekend I accidentally set fire to the floor when some white gas spilled. The flames reached an impressive 3 feet. The concrete floor emerged completely unscathed. Good times.
Later in the week I was installing a glass door into a cabinet when it fell out. There was no bounce. As soon as the glass merely touched the concrete it exploded into sea of shiny glass cubes across my floor. I was impressed because it looked the whole thing fell to pieces before it completely hit the floor.
