Reddit has a variety of bots that respond to people’s comments for a variety of reasons. I think /u/MayhapsYouMeant may be the friendliest: “I’m extremely, terribly regretful to have to inform you that you might be mistaken in your spelling of “a lot” as “alot”. But I’m a bot and I’m most likely mistaken. Please don’t take this the wrong way, I’m only trying to inform people in case they don’t know they might have made a mistake.”
