This channel has excellent hype trailers but this isn’t one of them. Don’t put in text of a coach’s quote, use audio. If you do use text get a designer to pick the right colors and typefaces (get rid of those 3d and glow treatments!). The Paul Bryant statue shot at the beginning has awkward framing when clearly they’re trying for iconic. Bryant-Denny Stadium is the 10th largest stadium in the world but that scope is lost in the footage. They did a better job bringing the stadium into it with their LSU trailers about Death Valley. Camera is all over the place (bottom of huddle looking up, looking down, canted angles, etc.) and they’re mixing in more kinds of video sources. Both teams have similar colors so the play highlight section should be more careful about the home and away jerseys. I think this problem is compounded by the mix of natural and stadium lighting in the highlight section. All of this serves to muddle the conflict they’re trying to establish. The Auburn/LSU trailer is still my favorite.
