'True Detective' Season 2 Is Coming, Here Are The Latest Details

I’m guessing Rachel McAdams character, Ani Bezzerides, is a reference to A.I. Bezzerides the excellent screenwriter of Kiss Me Deadly. Season 2 sounds like it borrows ideas from Kiss Me Deadly. If the whole season draws from Robert Aldrich and Jules Dassin films I’ll be excited to see pop culture revisit those old movies.
