Marvel's Daredevil | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix

I think the Bendis/Maleev run on Daredevil is one of the best runs of any comic book team. DD is a character I really like. But sweet jesus that trailer has some awful dialogue. “You’re blind but you see so much.”, “You know what they call stuff like that? Gifts.”, “JUSTICE IS BLIND”, “You and I have a lot in common. We’re nothing alike.” The repeated lines hammering home a Manichaean duality between good and evil grate on my ears. Can’t Daredevil just be a lapsed Catholic driven by guilt and a lawyer’s vanity for the spotlight?
