Thinking about Indiana’s gay bigotry and wondering what the founding fathers would think. Apparently then Virginia Gov Thomas Jefferson favored castrating gay men and tried to pass a law. But it was considered too liberal so Virginia stuck with the death penalty. On the plus side at least Indiana isn’t Uganda bad when it comes to bigotry.
